Cumming Comprehensive Treatment Center

Cumming Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers personalized medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. An evidence-based intervention, MAT combines prescription medication and counseling to help people successfully end opioid use and begin the process of long-term recovery.  

Respected organizations such as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recommend MAT as an effective form of opioid addiction treatment. Additionally, MAT services have been offered for years in methadone clinics around the country.  

Many traditional methadone clinics offer one type of medication for patients. However, at our Comprehensive Treatment Center in Cumming, Georgia, adults may receive a prescription for methadone or buprenorphine as part of their individualized treatment plans. These medications can alleviate opioid withdrawal symptoms and cravings and make it easier for patients to avoid relapse and maintain lasting recovery.

In group therapy sessions, patients may connect with peers who are also receiving MAT services, explore strategies for preventing relapse, and develop coping and life skills.
