It’s not just a phase: Addressing adolescent substance use with compassion & care

This presentation focused on adolescents and how substance use may impact their lives. The session also included discussions on preventative factors that can reduce the risk of substance use and explore treatment approaches that have proved to be effective when working with adolescents. Participants also had an opportunity to learn about adolescent development and discover healthy ways to help adolescents cope with the struggles they’re facing.
