About Hutchinson Mobile Unit in Hutchinson, KS

Hutchinson Mobile Unit is a stand-alone mobile clinic serving adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. Our clinic, which is an extension of Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center, proudly offers medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, to help adults achieve and maintain lasting recovery. MAT is an evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment that combines prescription medication and counseling.

Located in Hutchinson, Kansas, our mobile treatment center provides personalized MAT services for residents of Hutchinson and surrounding counties. If you have been struggling with an addiction to prescription painkillers, heroin, or another opioid, our qualified team of professionals is ready to assist you and help you get on the path to long-term recovery.

One thing that may set us apart from many traditional methadone clinics is the comprehensive set of MAT services we offer. At Hutchinson Mobile Unit, we’re pleased to provide both individual and group therapy sessions for patients. Additionally, as part of each patient’s individualized care plan, we can prescribe either methadone or buprenorphine to relieve the challenging symptoms of opioid withdrawal and help people remain in recovery.

Our Treatment Therapies

Many people expect to receive a prescription for methadone or a similar medication when they seek care at a methadone clinic or Comprehensive Treatment Center. By providing relief from withdrawal symptoms and opioid cravings, the medications offered in MAT can be a key component of someone’s recovery journey. However, for many people, counseling is also essential for their progress toward better health and well-being.

At Hutchinson Mobile Unit, we take an individualized approach to determining what counseling services may work best for each person. As a person moves through our MAT program, we will assess their progress and adjust the frequency of counseling to best fit their needs.

In individual counseling sessions, you can work with a qualified professional, exploring your struggles with opioid addiction and adopting strategies that can help you avoid opioid use and achieve a healthier future. Your counselor can offer focused support that may help you remain hopeful and motivated throughout the challenges of recovery.

We also offer regular group therapy sessions, which can help you make progress toward your treatment goals as well as benefit from peer support. In group sessions, you can connect with peers, exchange support and encouragement, and become part of a recovery community.

Methadone gave me a second chance at life, a life that heroin was taking away. I am forever grateful. Thank you!
