About Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center in Madison, WI
Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient clinic located in Madison, Wisconsin, that serves adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder, the clinical term for opioid addiction. We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines medications such as methadone with both individual and group therapies, to promote lasting recovery from opioid addiction.
Many methadone clinics that provide MAT only offer one medication, but Madison East CTC offers multiple options, including methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Suboxone®. Taking a medication such as methadone as part of medication-assisted treatment helps reduce opioid cravings and decreases the painful symptoms associated with opioid withdrawal.
We work closely with every patient to determine the best therapeutic interventions and medication options for their specific circumstances.
Therapies Used at Our Madison Methadone Clinic
Some methadone clinics only offer medication to promote recovery from opioid use disorder, but at Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center, we offer a whole-person approach to opioid addiction treatment. In addition to taking a medication such as methadone to address the physical aspects of opioid addiction, our patients participate in individual and group therapies to address emotional, behavioral, and social concerns related to opioid abuse.
One-on-one counseling sessions give our patients the opportunity to better understand why they may have started abusing opioids in the first place. Our patients can also develop healthier coping skills and gain important new tools during group therapy sessions that they can take with them after they transition back home.
Taking part in counseling can be an empowering experience that gives our patients the confidence to make positive changes in their lives. Our caring and compassionate team encourages every patient to actively participate in their treatment so that they can regain the control opioid addiction has stolen from their life.
What to Expect at Madison East CTC
The opioid addiction treatment you receive at a methadone clinic should not be a one-size-fits-all experience. No one’s recovery journey is the same, which is why it is crucial for your care to reflect your unique life experiences, medical history, strengths, and challenges.
We develop a personalized plan of care for every patient who turns to Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center in their time of need. Our multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and counselors collaborates with each patient to make sure that they play an active role in their treatment.
Throughout your time at Madison East CTC, you will set the groundwork for recovery that lasts, and our team will be behind you every step of the way.
“Coming to the clinic was the best decision I have made for myself. I know I wouldn’t be on this earth without it. I have been given a second chance at life because of the clinic.”
