About Oceanside Comprehensive Treatment Center in Oceanside, CA
Located in Oceanside, California, Oceanside Comprehensive Treatment Center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction. Those who have an addiction to prescription painkillers, heroin, or other opioids can find the help they need at our center to achieve lasting recovery.
MAT integrates medication with counseling to address opioid addiction. This approach is scientifically proven to be highly effective in treating opioid addiction. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the National Institute on Drug Abuse both support MAT as an excellent treatment approach for opioid addiction at methadone clinics.
Therapies Used at Our Oceanside Methadone Clinic
While some methadone clinics only offer one or two medications to address opioid addiction, we use four: methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone®, and naltrexone. These medications may work differently for each person, so our qualified treatment team carefully assesses each patient to determine which one will work best for them. Medication eases painful withdrawal symptoms and suppresses physical cravings so that patients can stop using opioids.
We also offer individual counseling to help you in your recovery. In individual sessions, you can speak one-on-one with a counselor about the emotional, social, and behavioral aspects of your life that may have contributed to your struggles with addiction. You can gain a better understanding of your circumstances and develop new coping skills and strategies to avoid opioid use in the future.
No two people have the same treatment experience at our Oceanside center. We respect each person’s individuality, supporting them in becoming the best version of themselves as they pursue recovery.
What to Expect at Our Oceanside Methadone Clinic
When you start treatment at our center in Oceanside, California, we’ll conduct a detailed assessment to determine which services are best for you. We’ll ask questions about your current living situation, past drug use, and medical history. We will also perform a physical examination and drug screening, and then create a plan of care just for you.
At Oceanside Comprehensive Treatment Center, we want your treatment experience to be positive and affirming, and more than you would expect from a standard methadone clinic. We encourage you to visualize what recovery from opioid addiction looks like for you, such as returning to work or building healthier relationships. These ideas can be integrated into your plan of care as personal goals, helping you to stay motivated as you progress in your recovery.
Ending your opioid use may be extremely difficult on your own, but you are much more likely to be successful with our help. If you are struggling with opioid addiction, don’t hesitate to contact our Oceanside clinic today.
