About Panhandle Comprehensive Treatment Center in Pace, FL

Panhandle Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Pace, Florida. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) on an outpatient basis for adults who are struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Panhandle CTC serves adults age 18 and older of all genders.

MAT is an evidence-based, research-supported form of opioid addiction treatment that incorporates prescription medications and counseling. In the decades since MAT began to be offered at methadone clinics in the United States, this form of treatment has been closely studied and has proved to be a safe and effective means of helping patients establish a foundation for long-term recovery from opioid addiction.

Originally, methadone clinics offered one type of medication to help patients end their opioid use. Today, providers such as Panhandle CTC in Pace, Florida, are authorized to offer additional medications. Adults who receive care at our opioid addiction treatment center may receive prescriptions for either methadone or buprenorphine.

What to Expect at Panhandle CTC Methadone Clinic

Most people who start their opioid addiction recovery journey at Panhandle CTC in Pace, Florida, understand that methadone clinics provide medications that can ease the pain of opioid withdrawal. But many new patients don’t realize that our services and support extend far beyond prescribing medication.

The dedicated professionals who provide care at our facility in Pace understand that people who develop opioid use disorder often also struggle with shame, guilt, fear, and even a loss of hope for the future. We work diligently to ensure that our facility remains a safe and welcoming place where each patient benefits from personal attention and comprehensive support.

When you choose Panhandle CTC in Pace, Florida, you can expect to work in close collaboration with a team that is committed to providing superior service in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Here, you will be encouraged to ask questions, share your concerns, and take ownership of your recovery from opioid addiction.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Pace, FL

Individualized services are a fundamental feature of care at our opioid addiction treatment center in Pace, Florida. Prior to starting treatment at Panhandle CTC methadone clinic, patients complete a thorough assessment that allows our team to identify the full scope of their needs. After this assessment, a member of our medical staff meets with the patient to explain the features and benefits of methadone and buprenorphine and recommend the medication that’s best for them.

In addition to receiving a prescription for methadone or buprenorphine, patients at our opioid addiction treatment center in Pace, Florida, also participate in individual and group counseling sessions. Methadone and other medications can help people end their opioid use without experiencing the intense pain of opioid withdrawal, but medications alone cannot prepare a person to successfully navigate the path of long-term opioid addiction recovery.

During counseling sessions, patients can gain valuable information about opioid addiction, learn to identify triggers that can lead to relapse, develop skills that will enable them to maintain their recovery, and share support with others who are working toward similar goals.

I am so grateful for the staff at Providence CTC. I have been able to abstain from using Opioids for over 2 years with the help of Methadone.  I still am working every day on my recovery, and it gets easier every day.
