About Riverside Comprehensive Treatment Center in Riverside, CA
Riverside Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Riverside, California, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder, which is the clinical term for opioid addiction.
MAT integrates prescription medication with counseling to help people end their opioid use. MAT is a time-tested and extensively researched approach to treating addiction. It has been shown to improve a person’s treatment outcome and reduce risk of relapse.
It takes courage to seek treatment at a methadone clinic for addictions to heroin, painkillers, or other opioids. At Riverside CTC, we create a warm and accepting environment that welcomes anyone who wants to pursue recovery from opioid addiction. We want each person to rediscover their self-worth, develop a sense of hope, and build confidence in their ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
Therapies Used at Our Riverside Methadone Clinic
At Riverside CTC, we provide four medications that can all help a person end their opioid use: methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone®, and naltrexone. When medication is taken as directed under the supervision of a MAT program at a methadone clinic, patients can avoid the painful effects of opioid withdrawal they would experience if attempting to end their opioid use without help. A qualified provider will work with you to determine which medication and dosage are right for you.
Individual counseling is also part of a person’s treatment plan at our CTC. At our center, you’ll meet one-on-one with an experienced counselor to explore the impact opioid addiction has had on your life. You can also learn how to rebuild relationships, regain self-confidence, and repair any other harm opioid addiction has caused.
Our goal is to help people establish a foundation for successful long-term recovery from opioid addiction. The effort you put into counseling sessions and other services can help you develop valuable skills that will have tremendous benefits throughout your recovery journey.
What to Expect at Riverside CTC
You may feel uncertain about seeking treatment at a methadone clinic, especially if you are not sure what to expect. At Riverside CTC, we are transparent throughout the entire treatment process. When you first start at our center, a qualified professional will talk to you about your medical history and concerns and will also conduct a routine physical examination. The information we gather from this assessment helps us create an individualized plan of care that is tailored to your specific needs.
Our team of doctors, nurses, and clinicians is ready to provide you with the personalized care you deserve. With our help, you can achieve recovery from opioid addiction and take ownership of your future.
